Billboard Battalion Live at Wallaloo East, Marnoo – Victorian Wimmera – 29/4/2026

Today Billboard Battalion is attending 2 properties at Wallaloo East, near Marnoo in the Victorian Wimmera region.

These properties belong to a local farming family who is having their land invaded by Victorian Government DEECA Authorised Officers for the purpose of conducting Ecological Surveys in relation to the VNI West (Victoria-New South Wales Interconnector) Transmission Line project.

This Transmission Line project is part of the renewable energy attack that is seeing our electricity system being destroyed and replaced with renewable infrastructure which will not be able to meet our energy requirements.

This morning at 8:30am, the first of the properties was visited by the officers, who drove past and didn’t stop when they saw the crowd of approximately 30-40 people in attendance. You can see the live stream of this on our social media platforms.

Another land access attempt will take place nearby at 1pm today, and Billboard Battalion will be there to cover it.

I am currently stopped in the small town of Marnoo, and have just checked out a display of the early history of the town and district, which includes a wool press and a commemoration of the 100 year centenary of settlement in the Marnoo District, which was unveiled in 1975.
